HELLO TWO OH FIVE! I haven't been posting here! Please read CAREFULLY.

Anyway, here's what we're gonna do on MONDAY! Remember to bring your PE T-SHIRT and WEAR SHORTS.

TELEMATCH

Station 1

Description:
This game consists of 3 groups: the murderers, civilians and directors. There are 2 directors, who are in charge of the murderers and the civilians respectively. All the murderers and civilians will be blindfolded except for the directors. At the start of the game, each group will stand on opposite sides of the classroom. As they are blindfolded, they will have to receive "commands" from their directors such that they can catch the civilians. The director of the murderers will give the command first
before the director of civilians does so. This will happen one after another. If at the end of the time limit, there are more than 8 civilians, the civilians will have won.
Task of Game Coordinators:
- to brief the students as of the description(you can explain in your own words, as long as the game is not changed)
- point out danger areas as students will be blindfolded
- count the number of blindfolds after each class leaves(to ensure all blindfolds are in)
- to do a slight debrief question: “So what did you experience in this game?”
- model ans: I HAD TO TRUST MY FRIENDS etc.
- to give out puzzle clue at the end of the task, ensure that puzzle clue is solved before allowing them to proceed

Station 2

Description:
Friends!
- The class will be seated in a circle on the floor.
- The game will be played in the form of Pass the Parcel to music.
- When the music stops, the student holding the parcel will be “IT”.
- Student leaders will ask a question about her class(like what’s the most memorable thing the class went through together)
- Classmates then have to answer before the game continues.
- If unable to answer, the class will perform a forfeit
Task of Game Coordinators:
- to brief the students on the game
- to facilitate the thing by just listening to their answers and asking them the questions they draw out from the parcel
- ensure that the parcel is in good condition and not crumpled up
- to give out puzzle clue to them after they complete the task and to ensure completion of puzzle clue before allowing them to proceed

Station 3

Description:
Know Nanyang!
- This game will be on-going throughout the race.
- Students will split into groups of 5, and will be deployed to go around the school to search for example:
- “Get the signature of the teacher wearing RED”, “Record a school worker’s voice using your hand phone.”
- The group who is out, will have to complete the “mission” and be able to find their class without the use of hand phones or other devices and join back to the class.
Task of Game Coordinators:
- to be stationed at a classroom and be available to give the questions out to the different small groups of students coming
- to verify the answers that the students bring back

Station 4:

Description:
Know your Nation!
- Short excerpts of Old National Day theme songs will be played.
- Students are to guess the title of the song or to sing the next 5 lines.
- If unable to do so, students have to perform a forfeit.
1) Sing a short excerpt of a National Day theme song they know as a class
OR
2) Offer 2 facts regarding Singapore, or two major happenings in Singapore NOW or THEN.
3) If less than 5 questions are answered correctly, class will have to do a major forfeit like cheering in front of everyone
4) Answers to be given within 30 seconds after song is played
Task of Game Coordinators:
- to play the excerpts of the old national day songs
- to verify answers with the class
- to time them, not more than 30 seconds for each question
- to give out the next puzzle clue to the class and ensure they solve it before allowing them to proceed.

Station 5

Description:
Where’s my Puzzle?
- Students are EACH given a piece of puzzle (a paper) at the start of the race for safekeeping.
- Students are only allowed to hold the pieces of puzzle in their hands.
- They are not allowed to keep them in places like pockets, bags, wallets etc.
- The class will have to piece all pieces together at the end of the race to form a picture.
- With this picture, it symbolizes the end of the race.

TELEMATCH!

1st game- 夹夹乐

Description: There will be a tennis ball given to the class, the students are supposed to pair up and walk to the two ends of prescribed areas. The students will have to walk facing each other with the ball kept between them. If each pair has had their turn and there is still more time, the class will have to continue until the time (10 min) is up. Station masters will count the number of times the pairs mange to finish their turn without dropping their balls.
Task of Game Coordinators(for each class):
- point out the specific area that the pairs have to do the turns
- count the number of tennis balls after each class leaves(to ensure all tennis balls are in)
- to do a slight debrief question: “So what did you experience in this game?”
- example ans: Each pair had to rely on their camaraderie to make sure that the tennis ball didn’t drop etc.

2nd game- I’ll catch you if you fall!

Description: At each time, a trio will take part in the game. Half the class will stand on each side of the hall. A student will walk with a plate balanced on her head (blindfolded), with two other students “escorting” her. They are supposed to escort the girl with the plate on her head over to the other end of the hall. If the plate falls at any time during the journey there, the “escorters” have to catch it. If they succeed in catching it and the plate does not fall to the ground, they can continue. If not, the trio will have to return to the starting point and restart. The trio then rejoins the other half of the class and passes on the blindfold. They also need to line up again at the back to wait for their turn to exchange “positions” until all 3 have been blindfolded. The fastest class to have everyone finish their turn wins.
Task of Game Coordinators(for each class):
- to hand out the 2 blindfolds per class
- to hand out a plate per class
- ensure that everyone has had their turn
- to collect the blindfolds and plates back after the game and to tally the number
- to return the plates to the overall coordinators
- to do a slight debrief question: “What does this game test you about?”
- example ans: Trust in my friends – since I was blindfolded.
- E.g. Alertness.

3rd game- Don’t hook on me!

Description: Each class is lined up at one side of the hall. Students have to form pairs and are to balance a hulahoop on the undersides of their wrist and go through an obstacle course without dropping the hoop. After completing the obstacle course, they are to hold on to the hulahoop and to walk back briskly to pass the hoop to the next pair. Students are to go in pairs and the hulahoop will be balanced between the two students. Everyone is to go at least once, and the fastest class to finish wins.

Task of Game Coordinators(for each class):
- to set up the obstacle course
- to give out the hulahoop to each class
- to collect the hulahoop after the game
- to remove the obstacle course (with the help of the classes)
- to do a slight debrief question: “What do you think is the key or secret to this game?”
- example ans: To be very sensitive to each other.

4th game- 黑白不分
Description: Half of the class will stand at each side of the hall. A plate of mixed green beans and red beans will lie in the centre, with 2 adjacent plates beside it. 2 pairs of chopsticks will be provided per class and they are to separate the green beans and the red beans as fast as possible. The green beans will be put on one plate and the red beans on another. Two students will proceed at a time and must walk briskly towards the plates. They can only return after picking up 5 beans each. If any student at the plate decides to give up after awhile without picking up at least 5 beans, she will be asked a random question by the game coordinator. Once answered, the next student can be sent up. However, this does not apply for the other student at the plates.
Duration: 10 minutes
Briefing: 5minutes

THE GREAT JUNNING POSTS ON THE CLASS BLOG! yeppido! today is officially the first day our exams end! whee. happy playing and enjoying the stress free life! hahaha. me, jialing, shiyu, cheryl, xinyu went out to orchard to play the whole day! we watch ROB-B-HOOD. and, i mus announce to the whole world that shiyu cried umpteeen times during the movie while i haven even started crying. she damm funny. she cry makes me not wanna cry but laff at her. haha. she sniff sniff here and there, trying hard not to let me know she crying. hahahahahaha. anyway, she coming over to my house tml to organise class chalet! yay.. we NEED a class chalet! its fun! seriously.. HELLOOO FIRSTHALF! this is on the costumes and props. though we will probably make some changes. hmm!

HEY! Since it is going to be really hard finding so many gowns and tuxedos, we just change the thing to something like a grand party ok? Everything will still be the same! Everyone will still dress formally, but not tuxedos and gowns.

Those who can help with lending some of the costumes, please let us know ASAP! We will need to shop for some clothes and props I think. And second half if you can help to supply any materials, lets us know too! =D

And there is a big problem. To make the houses look like HOUSES and the ballroom to look like a BALLROOM. Hahahaha

The last two rows (Consisting of mainly dancers) are supposed to wear RAZOR BACKS and JEANS but you all have to bring ALL the razor backs that you have so that you all can choose what colours to wear exactly to wear on Monday. (HILARY you're in charge in overseeing this =D)

The BOLDED names are the leaders of their rows and they are supposed to contact each girl of their row to inform them of their attire. For Row 1, the person's myself. Row 2-XINYU, Row 3-LI CHENG, Row 4-HILARY, Row 5-CASSANDRA.

We will audition until the end of TWO CHORUSES because the last part is meant for showing cards with teachers' names on them. If we get in (HOPEFULLY!), then we will do up the cards and organize everything properly.

Please make sure that you all memorize the chorus for the song. It's only the chorus, so I expect everyone to know the lyrics by heart!

At the end of the FIRST chorus, the first three rows (ALL NON DANCERS) are expected to get "offstage". We will be doing the dance in a classroom so "offstage" there means getting out of the class.

Just now the teacher in charge (The Bio Teacher Mrs Wong) called me and reminded us about the audition taking place in the 3/5 classroom at 2.45 SHARP. So please don't disappear after Science on Monday. After all, we should be rehearsing the dance from 2-2.45! DON'T ESCAPE! ;P

ALL OF YOU are expected to stay back from 10 - 10.15, during lunch & from 2 - 2.45! I'm so sorry but we really need the time crucially to keep rehearsing. Go grab a bite from 9.45 - 10 and have a HEAVY breakfast! ):

hihi! junning here... our blog is almost dead, isnt it? well, food and fun fair is fun! its finally over!! wheee!!! i hope all of us had funn... :) its good that the test tubes stall has earn quite alot... i tink... but wads the actual amount arh?? 2000+ got anot?? haha. hope we will be the highest!

i tink the meteorite ride is the MOST FUN! wheeee!!! haahaaa... the first time i rode was with siahxinyu, nicole, chengxin, rachel, and jialing. :))) SO SCARY. okay, i was very timid... it zoom soooo fast! and its so windy and cooling!! haha! xinyu was very scared too! she keep clutching my hand can? then say, junning, i very scared! haha.. then i oso say, i very scared!!! okay, i cried a teeny weeny bit... thenn the wind makes my tears go side ways off. i sat it twice.. the second time was much okay. i dint scream anymore... the first time i scream until i almost died..

we went 206 haunted house too! me, nicole, rachel, chengxin and xinyu! wheee. rachel was super brave can? now i noe we are a bunch of cowards! hahahaha... there was quite little ghost... but their makeup is very real lahh. wah lao... valerie( how to spell) hold my leg lor! so scary! then i scream like hell. then she hold my shoulders and follow me! i tot it was siahxinyu lor!! and i scream like hell!! we huddle together and walk thru the maze... the maze was quite cool lah...

foodd... the bubble tea from a class was very nice.. i like alot. 2/12 pasta was not bad too.. i oso ate alot of barang barang.. xinyu treat me one! haha. she too rich le! aye, first time in history she so rich okay, can treat ppl food! haha. first time she got 40dollars to spend away! and she is richer than me and rachel. lol... or else she always owe ppl money. hahaha! maybe she can pay her debts in terms of coupon money wad.. haha......

oh yes, i saw meisiew's baalooon too. haha. and nicole was crazy for that whole day.

1) Who wants to go to the Nanyang Chinese Orchestra concert on 2nd July held at the Singapore Conference Hall? Tickets are at $10 and the show starts at 7.30pm. The seating is fixed!

2) The Student Welfare Committee of the Student Council has organised a dialogue session between the school upper-management and the student body to discuss various school-based issues. It will be held at the Alumni Room on the 20th of July (Thursday)from 245 to 345.

AHHAHH and now there's like a about five people in MSN with me telling me YES THEY THINK THAT THE CSM IS INTERESTING BUT AT PARTS BORING. and even complaining about the phone-screaming guy. seriously. shouting obscenities so loudly? distasteful ):

yeh. making a mountain out of a molehill. people like Xiaxue blog about handicapped toilets and that is also making a mountain of a molehill. people's opinions okey. so this will not being down our spirits from the great and lovely CSM.

which made us all sun-tired and hungry that it brought a group of us to BCC in serene centre! which was hell fun. because nicole made us all indulge in lameshit mindgames, which were so lame, if cracked up all of us. so badly. and there was me and alina whining like a puttymama, because we never get to figure out the lame solution.

there was black magic, how many mehmehs jumped over the fence, bangbangbangbang who died, open or close and somemore i think.

all while waiting for our gloriousky foooooodd.

then we went to do SIA, but alina said it was okey for me to go along because i told her no one at home. so i went there and they concentrated while i explored her nicey cosy home (: which made me feel so at home i plopped on the couch and took a nice little nap and dreamt abit about CSM and someone who fell and skinned her kneee.

alina was so nice, she brought out her precious oversized eeyore to let me hugg. and game me some minute maid and transfats.

it felt good to be with friends. you knw, like just hang out at some girlfriend's place, not for aesthetic reasons, but just to hang out. like my gng to shu nu's house just for pure fun.

if not waste phone bills yakking like hell into the phone. and by the way she is supposed to call me by now. ARE YOU BACK FROM METRO SALE???

so, we get bored. and i know you HCI people too. i mean, i actually saw two HCI guys sprawled right aross the ground sleeping on their bags. and there's this guy playing his MP3 throughout the entire CSM. and there's even this guy talking so hell loudly on his phone right in front of the stands, yelling obscenities and whatnots with exaggerated actions- believe me. the F word was used. ask my class, he was yelling into the phone so loudly.

at parts of it. i know it's hard for the boards to arrange CSM, but it's an expected opinion.

i'm really sorry, but ask any of us. we liked and enjoyed lots of parts of it, but when there was nothing to do like when the announcer was announcing results and all, we went up to the milo van to get drinks. we went to toilets when our bladders were empty. we milled around ponds and talked to random HCI guys (not me, but i saw a few of my friends doing this).

and you HCI people were apparently doing the same.

as for the comments of NCC performances, we all agreed that it was good but maybe you did not see the considerably large amount of girls giggling at the person holding the cymbal. because, number one, the action was indeed pretty funny. and funny IS good, i like funny. so we all laughed, at his actions which were pretty cute, i guess. which caught the sunlight and it radiated to all our faces.

awwwww.

and it kinda looked like fan-twirling, which is mostly associated with China dance ladies, i guess. so that explained the giggles. but overall, a appreciated attempt to make it more attractive.

and the rifle presentation. could tell quite a lot of work went into coordinating it. but the music is associated with dance, which was quite funny. the tech music. and some of the actions were funny.

do you seriously expect all of us to oooh and ahhhhh at every action? there was one part where the guys did something like slap their gluteus maximus, but it's all choreographed, we understand. but if i did that repetively in front of you, i dare you not to laugh.

AND WE ALL DID OOOH AND AAHHHHHED A LOT THROUGHOUT BOTH PERFORMANCES. you heard. i knw you did. there were nice parts and not so nice parts.

our dear Bella ran for one of the races and she got whopping SECOND! atta girl, bella (: and it's damn impressive because people were telling me that the 2/11 Samantha Raeben whatever couldnt be beaten. then, there were the relayers! who looked the coolest running because of our funky jerseys. hawhaw the councillors were leading us through a nasty bout of "What Say You Say I Say" and then 2/5 stopped cheering halfway and started screaming for our relayers Sam, Kristie, Cassandra and Bella in that order! kuakuakua they looked so cool running, i couldnt stop jumping like a cottontail rabbit. and cheeering! especially for my darling Shu Nu, KRISTABELLE! so it was GGOOOOOOO KRISTABELLE all the wayyyyy!

i will allocate and each pian1 ji2 will get 3 pple's poems/compo to edit.
all must be done and sent back to the pple whom each pian1 ji2 is editing. CC them to me please. by SATURDAY.(:
people will print out the final super edited version and hand in to the mei2 shu4 zu3 by TUES. (02.05.06)
meanwhile, the mei shu zu must draw and design the coverpage and the last page.
the mei shu zu will collect all the pieces and add the coverpage and the last page. by wed!
mei shu zu pple --> pass it to the ying shua zu! YES.

Everybody is going around saying,"Thanks to so-and-so". But the thing is, it's not anybody's fault because everybody in our class including me, has eaten in class before! =D So we should all be responsible for it. I know it's torture having to be locked out during recess and lunch but please bear with it, we've got barely a few days left.

SO LET'S JUST STOP EATING IN CLASS SHALL WE!

Another issue is, we must always respect the people who go up in front of the class and make announcements. I know you must be thinking, "why should we listen, it doesn't even bother us". But MY DEARS, (i'm saying "my dears" for the third time =D) please please please spare a thought for the speaker!

It takes a lot of courage for one to go and speak in front of an entire class and that person's greatest wish when she speaks is being able to capture everybody's attention! It is very terrible when the person realizes that nobody is listening to her.

SO I'M BEGGING YOU ALL TO LISTEN TO ANNOUCEMENTS!

firstly, as a class, i think we shd learn to respect one another's decision rite? if one decides not to change place, u do not needa come out with all ways n means to 'convince' the person as wat u said? if she wans to change then change, if not JUS BE IT!!! it wouldnt kill ya.

oh wow hilary. yaye for me too because i am posting in absence of my on hiatusey blog.

today hilary hongheeheehaahaahoho went to nicole's house and had loads of fun. and laughter.

and me?

i got ballet.

from 3pm to 10.20pm in the NIGHT. what the hell. my teacher extended the time. whatever. who cares. we had break like about 15 minutes, hello, like every 2 and a half hours.

i have a blister the size of a bubble from my right little toe. i have the itchy urge to pop it. only it'll get infected..

it's pointe work the whole day. yaye pointe shoe is made out of WOOD, for your information. would you care to try it on? three word: break a leg. nuff said.

only good part is, because i go home late in the night, it's an easy issue to whip out my pointe shoe and conk it over the head of any potentional rapist. hurrah.

my teacher yelled at me for not tying my hair into a ballet bun. nehneh. and the worst part is, she brought extra gell and pins and nets, so she did it for me. alamak. she tyed it so tight, when i took it out just now, believe me, but i positively looked like Medusa. snake tendrils and all. only my daddy sez i look like Barbie.

Hey... hello everybody. i am here to post again. just came back from SWIMMING! issit double M? i dunno. i suck at spelling. talking bout swimming, i always get drowned by my stupid old sis... she likes to drown me and swims fast and away. idiot. i can't swim tt fast. i nv learn swimimng properly. and so i swim like a broken leg frog. yeah. as long as i can float, and i can move on water, i call tt swimiming. and thus i swim so slow... yeahh.

monday is the new seating arrangement. i cant say tt i am sad bout the arrangement, nor happy bout it. maybe we should be more receptive to changes dont u tink so? i change in awhile mite be fun... i am quite looking forward to life in new seating places. i am changed diagonally across and yepp... its right in the front.. there are pros and cons of seating in the front and back. y not everyone of us try it first, before saying its back? no offence lah, those who are the type of more hardworking ones... aiya, mus try try mah. seating at the back doesnt mean results will slip, as long as u work hard. isnt it? dun be so kiasu mah. haha. wont die de. its not the end of the world. the teachers voice wont be so hard to travel to the back of the class. i tinks its still okay. afterall, its been sometime tt u have been seating infront or sumthing? maybe give some chance to others too.

as for those who likes to slack behind and eat mum mum and sms and chit chat behind... maybe its time for us to buck up... u noe? mite not be too bad after all... sitting infront makes u have no choice but concentrate, isnt it? seating at the bad is not tt bad... u can relax a bit, and not bee so tense, listening to every single word the teacher says... sumtimes, teachers do crap too. and crap is relli crap, so wad for listen? and so u take up a chocolate and munch munch munch behind. yeah. quite good oso.

talking of crapping... our science teacher is quite crappy and lame sometimes, dun u tink so?? haha."tada! this is the periodic table!!" on one page of the ppt.
our geog teacher.. is just borring and crappy as well."the mini weather forcast cost 2000 US dollars! very expensive! ya! the ppl see got bussness, but no one wants to buy it! y? because singapore doesnt have much climate changes!...... 2000 US dollars..... put here? not good. put there? oso not good! will spoil the nanyang sch picture!... " blah blah blah... and it goes on and on for 1and a half hrs... hahaha. see? i seat behind oso can listen to every word she say... although i talk and sleep at the same time. hahah. she too long winded some times... blahh.

but at least they quite nice and kind to us larh... btw, those are just my comments on them... u mite not like it. but who cares??? hahah

anyway, talking back to changing positions... seating beside other than ur friends... well. that we have to accept it anyway.. who noes u mite meet up with a better friend?? anyway, ur good friend is near u... quite near... haha.. i seat next to who, then i talk to whoever de... haha.... unless they are so super quiet!
